Andhra Pradesh's Digital Education Model Sets a Benchmark

During a recent workshop, B Srinivasa Rao, representing the School Education Department, articulated the progress under the Samagra Shiksha programme, which enjoys the backing of the World Bank. Rao highlighted the impressive financial management that has seen 95% of the allocated Rs 2626.52 crore being effectively utilised in the last academic year.

Celebrated economist and Nobel laureate Professor Michael Kremer has also voiced his admiration for the reforms. Kremer described the initiatives of the YSR Congress Party-led government as both revolutionary and strategic, suggesting they could serve as a blueprint for other regions.
